Our paint is the correct original engine green for Metropolitan engines, engine parts, and transmissions. Computer matched color taken from a NOS valve cover that was stored inside. This is the correct color for concours judging.
12 oz. aerosol can. It takes approximately 2-3 cans to do the engine and related engine parts and 3-4 cans to do all of these plus the transmission. For the best results apply to bare steel and use 2 coats.
The engine paint is a direct to metal epoxy enamel that is chemical & oil resistant which is perfect for engines and transmissions. As you can tell from the photos the paint can be applied directly to cast iron (like the water pump) and bare steel (like the valve cover), thus avoiding having to prime those parts.
Beautiful gloss finish that has been field tested here with excellent results.
