We don't recommend rebuiliding any hydraulic cylinders. Put a new one on and be done with it.
The early slave cylinder uses a clamp to secure it to the transmission. The engine will have the thin backing plate (3/16") that uses lock tabs & the starter will be in the lower position.
Don't forget about the hose and push rod when replacing your slave cylinder.
