Description
Bull Dawg 5/8" master cylinder. The 5/8" is the piston size.
Begins E-29284.
We highly recommend using new hydraulic components - rebuild kits don't eliminate wear. Never rebuild a used brake master cylinder. Get a new one and drive around confidently and most importantly safely.
If you need the brake line that goes into the master cylinder, click here. If you're completely rebuilding your brake system don't forget about our BRK4 & BRK5 brake overhaul kits.
If you're purchasing for the clutch master cylinder you will need to reuse your original push rod. If yours is missing or bent we do have new ones available. When using it for a clutch master cylinder and you need any of the clutch lines, click here.
We are often asked which master cylinder you should purchase. The easy answer is: it's personal preference. They are both identical except the piston size (5/8” BR3 – 3/4” BR4) -- both fit exactly the same. If you don't have a personal preference, we always recommend going with what is original, especially when it comes to your brakes. The serial number cut off is noted above in this description so you can pick the one that is original for your Metropolitan.
