Extremely rare. These get damaged when they aren't removed correctly.
Removal tip: you can see the ends of the pin have a shoulder. You can't "pound them through". Once you remove the nut on each end, be sure to remove one of the Leaf Spring Brackets first. Then you can remove the pin.
