Each used unit we work the latching & door handle mechanisms to make sure they function properly for you. We recommend working these functions by hand before installing. This will help to diagnose any other issue(s) in the latching system & you can be sure the latch mechanism works properly.
You can lock the door from the inside with the early left door latch mechanism. Originally the early style driver's exterior door handle didn't lock from the outside.
