Commonly overlooked part that should be replaced on all restorations. With the Mets having a single master cylinder set up your parking brake cable is very important. Used ones are stretched out and can't be trusted.
All hardware & brackets are painted & clear coated. The cable is adjustable as original to account for wear.

The last picture shows underneath the car where the parking brake cable bracket would attach to the pedestal. It's very difficult to get a good picture of that but it shows where it's at on your car. If all of that is missing from someone installing a new floor pan and not putting that back; the original was welded from the inner rocker panel to the inner frame rail.
